Black Chook 2007 Shiraz-Viognier - Syrah/Shiraz Red Wine

Red Wine by Black Chook from Australia. The Black Chook is sourced from two of the best known wine growing regions in South Australia, namely McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. McLaren Vale is known for its consistent, Mediterranean-type climate and Langhorne Creek characteristically produces Shiraz that is spicy, flavorful and elegant. Co-fermenting small amounts of Viognier skins with Shiraz adds a wonderful apricot perfume, at the same time as intensifying the deep rich color and velvety mouthfeel of the wine.
